50 ideas for wedding table names

I’ve done a few wedding marquee interiors now where the tables weren’t numbered but were given names instead which is a nice way to personalize your wedding reception.

One of my brides used the makes of lorries because her father was an enthusiast of all things transport and haulage!

Here are some ideas:

1. Favourite beers or beers of the world

2. Favourite champagnes, whiskies, wines or wine regions

3. Different cocktails – Design tip: put a large cocktail glass in the middle of each table

4. Types of cuisine, for example, different curries

5. Types of sweets – Design tip: put jars of the sweets on the table

6. Types of chocolate  – Design tip: Belgian, Dark and Swiss chocolate  as a favour on the table

7. Favourite restaurants

8. Halls of residence at the unniversity where the have couple met

9. Scottish lochs

10. Caribbean islands

11. Holiday destinations

12. Great beaches of the world

13. Race courses and famous race horses

14. Rivers – Design Tip: do shooting, fishing, hunting  as a theme

15. Flower names –  Design Tip: have the actual flowers on the table

16. Famous couples

17. Hollywood stars – Design Tip: have a Hollywood theme wedding

18. London streets

19. Names of lakes in the Lake District

20. Famous mathematicians

21. Names of deserts

22. Favourite book tiles – or authors

Hubby and I are computer geeks so we are going with names of major IT companies/apps for our 10th anniversary. And deco pic above is superb!
